Hi im Mike, i read your interesting article on "A nation of cowards". Is very interesting at it really backs up my teory of defending yourself. If every citizent that has gone asaulted had shown a litle defence then these perverted robbers will think twice on doing it again. Even tho it looks like legislation has counted us people to relax and enjoy the manhunt we see in NewsPapers, people getting kill, raped manslautered; is a sing of our times. A time of giving the other cheek and forget it happend. Not for me Americans, if I am denied my contitutional right then i have to take it in my oun hands. Lets find some stuff that are legal and use these stuff as weapons to protect our selves. A aluminum bat looks cute but is a good headbraker if use as a defence utility. And there is other thigs that we see and handle everyday that can usefull on our defence. Let sit down and talk and comeup with solutions. Is outreagious here in New York the Law bands Pepper sprays for women defence, were a man get jail for defending his car being robbed (the owner beat up to death the robber and was sentenced to jail 5 to 8). We as AMERICAN has given the power to those who careless about our nation, to those pretty faces that grew in richness but never suffered the pitty of te midle working class and the almost poor. Why these politicians need $900,000 to run a campaing when in my grandfathers time $35 was enought to sign a declaration plus 20,000 citizents signatures and a good speech was enought. Are these the kind of people we hire, the ones who dont know what is to be poor? Those who dont know wat is to live a paycheck away? those who dont know what is to work every year and hardly see an increase on your paycheck, not even to carry along all this bills trown on your face and leave you hanging each month with $200 to enjoy?? We are sick as a nation, we need to wake up and take back what is ours. I see people die with properties and the property becomes the goverment if no ones pay the taxes on it. In my country if you die with ouning a property it becomes your family for life, its stays in the generation to come and the goverment has litle to say. We as Americans need to unify our forces and do was is nessesary. The cost of living is eathing us and we still stay still in a corner complaining about it, instead of looking for solutions. Wake up Americans. I have an idea to share. I know Rent has become a reason to worry. We need shelter and is dificult to get. Every year it goes up and we dont see that money comming back tous...opps it goes down the drain. I thaught if 20 families unite and each family contrubutes $4,000. That ammount times 20 it goes up to $80,000. We can take that cash and purchase a land big enought for all these families. Then in it we can have a choice of whatwe want to live, eather a Trailer House, or a wood house. or a "tent", anything. Think maybe a NewYork Subway Train can be modified to make it into a home. I heard the MTA is giving them free. Anyway the purpose it to eliminate most of our rent cost to a max, to make our money abundant. Think of this with your rent problem solved you can save lots of money in the bank and when you are ready with enought cash to purchase a home then u can live your tribe, sell your share to someone else and move on.
